le message est : The method addMergedRegion(CellRangeAddress) in the type HSSFSheet is not applicable for the arguments (Region)

Salut,

Region est dépréciée, et la JavaDoc de Region le dit clairement :

Deprecated.
(Aug-2008) use CellRangeAddress

D'ailleurs la méthode addMergedRegion() prend un CellRangeAddress :
