Bonjour à tous,

J'aimerais pouvoir exécuter plusieurs Eclipse à la fois mais apparemment, chez moi ça ne fonctionne pas.

J'ai installé plusieurs versions d'Eclipse dont le premier est Eclipse Helios 3.6.

Lorsque je lance une version d'Eclipse qui n'est pas le premier, j'ai le message d'erreur suivant:

An error has occured. See the log file (voir plus bas pour le log)

J'ai déjà essayé de lancer Eclipse en précisant un workspace différent à utiliser (option -data) mais cela ne fonctionne pas.
Et j'ai essayé avec plusieurs autres versions et packages (Galileo, Europa) et j'ai à chaque fois le même problème, comme si mon premier Eclipse m'interdisait d'en lancer d'autres.

Quelqu'un aurait une idée de comment résoudre mon problème ?

Bonjour,

Une seule et même version d'Eclipse suffit, sauf si vraiment il te faut pouvoir utiliser différentes versions pour des besoins bien spécifiques.

Donc, supprime le répertoire eclipse dans lequel a priori tu as dû empiler les versions (mais je me trompe peut-être) et refait une installation toute neuve à partir d'un zip d'Eclipse.

Utilise des workspaces différents pour chaque instance que tu lanceras via un raccourci propre, en ayant paramétré l'emplacement du workspace (-data "...."), comme tu sembles avoir tenté de le faire.

Il n'y a aucune raison que ça ne fonctionne pas.
