Bonjour,
Suite à l'installation d'une base db2 v9.5 en production sur HP UX, je me suis rendu compte que l'installation du DAS a échoué...

J'aimerais donc re-installer le DAS afin d'effectuer des sauvegardes, et administrer mon instance.

Comment m'y prendre sachant que cette instance tourne depuis quelques mois en production et que je ne veux surtout pas casser ou supprimer l'instance...

Je n'ose pas faire de dasdrop ou autre...

sinon tu peux le supprimer et le recréer sans problèmes

le das est utilisé par les outils admin comme control center .. sa suppression c'est pas aussi grave que ça

essaie de faire update du das..
je suis pas sûr que ça marchera car je sais pas dans quelle version il est
je crois qu'il doit être 8.1 patch 4 et plus

aucune influence sur l'instance
le das n'intervient pas dans les sauvegardes
le das est un truc bidon qui peut bien disparaitre
il est utile pour les outils admin utilisés à partir de ton poste local

- Comment connaître la version du DAS ?

J'envisage de faire une sauvegarde de la base db2 sans déconnecter les utilisateurs...

A priori, il faut passer en mode de journalisation "linéaire" ...

- Comment connaitre le mode de journalisation de la base db2 ?
- Comment le changer ?

entre les versions il faut faire migration avec dasmigr
dans la même version pour appliquer des patchs faire update avec dasupdt

la version das 8 ne fonctionne qu'avec v8

pas de mise à jour de la v8 vers la v9. Faut supprimer le das et le recréer

db2daslevel dans la v9
dans les versions précédentes il y a db2level dans le user das

faut faire un backup online

pour ce il faut que la base soit en mode recovery
