Je rencontre régulièrement cette erreur 2002.

MySQL Error : 2002 - Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/run/mysqld/mysqld.sock' (11)
mysql plante, imppossible à arrêter, ni killer. je nep eux que rebooter le serveur :s

Je n'arrive pas à trouver une solution à ce problème, ni comprendre d'où elle peut venir.
J'ai regardé dans le syslog et voila ce que j'ai pu y trouver :
