j'y suis déjà allée mais le seul truc à telecharger (version windows) n'est qu'un tutorial mais merci quand même.

Alors est ce que quelqu'un peut me dire ou je peux trouver pgaccess pour windows autre que sur www.pgaccess.org

La version à télécharger n'est pas un tutorial mais un ensemble de script tcl/tk.

Il faut donc installer avant cet environnement (nommé scriptix dans le fichier readme.win32)

excuse moi mais peut tu me donner une marche à suivre pour le téléchargement des fichiers (ou les telecharger exactement) car en faite j'ai essayé plusieurs fois mais rien ne fonctionne.

In order to run PgAccess on a Win32 workstation you should follow the following steps:

# short instructions
1. download and install a Tcl/Tk package from http://www.scriptics.com
2. double-click on the icon that says 'pgaccess'

# long instructions
1. download and install a Tcl/Tk package from http://www.scriptics.com (8.0.x or greater)

!!! Tcl/Tk VERSION 8.3 ONLY FOR PgAccess 0.98.8 (8.4 should be fine !!!

2. install PgAccess package
3. check the Tcl/Tk version that you have
4. check the PostgreSQL version installed on your database server machine
5. get from win32/dll directory the appropriate libraries suitable for your Tcl/Tk version and PostgreSQL version (the 7.0 DLL works for PG versions 7.x)
6. and copy them into your Windows/System directory renaming them as libpq.dll and libpgtcl.dll
7. check if your win32 workstation is able to see your database server (ping yourdatabaseserver)
8. ask your database administrator to verify if your win32 workstation has access rights to the database (pg_hba.conf)

The location of the dll files can be overwritten on the command line with the -pglib command line parameter. Also, the location of the pgaccess source files is given by the -home parameter. These parameters are parsed in the pgaccess.tcl file used to start pgaccess.

Use the -pgintcl command line parameter to specify loading of the pure Tcl-PostgreSQL interface (thus eliminating the need for the dll altogether). This means you don't need to install the shared DLL files. If you forget the -pgintcl switch, and skip steps 3-6 above, don't worry, the pgin.tcl interface will be loaded for you anyhow.

Donc, en résumé :
- il faut aller sur le site de scriptix et installer tcl/tk sur ta machine,
- l'installation de pgaccess n'est en fait qu'une simple décompression de l'archive que tu trouveras à cette adresse PgAccess Win32
- tu trouveras différentes dll dans le répertoire win32/dll de pgaccess, tu dois choisir celle qui correspond à ta version de postgresql et la copier dans ton répertoire Windows OS,
- le point qui te resteras à valider est la possibilité de te connecter à distance sur la base. Pour cela, je te renvoie aux différents posts du forums et à la doc postgresql http://www.fr.postgresql.org/docs/7....ntication.html.

je m'excuse mais j'ai un problème ( je suis vraiment pas douée )

donc j'ai téléchargé comme tu m'as dis de le faire :
tcl / tk à partir de scriptix
mais le probleme c'est que je ne trouve pas le fichier à lancer pour les intaller.

puis j'ai téléchargé pgaccess et placé les dll ca c ok.

peux tu me dire comment installer tcl/tk

Bon ok, il fallait un peu chercher.... Dans la section Download de scriptix, tu n'as que les sources mais, juste en dessous, il y a un lien sur les binaires (Active tcl) qui te redirige chez ActiveState.
