repeter background image

Salut à tous,
J'ai un site composé de :

un div global
un div header (avec image de fond)
un div menu (avec image de fond)
un div spacer haut (avec image de fond)
un div content (avec image de fond) qui lui contient aussi :
- un div contenu (contenant toute l'information)
un div spacer_bas (avec image de fond)
un div footer (avec image de fond)

Mon probleme est que je souhaite adapté à mon div content un background repeat en y en fonction de la hauteur du texte contenu dans le div contenu et je sèche grave...
Mon probleme est surement pas des plus compliqué alors merci beaucoup pour votre aide...
