Couldn't locate driver named mysql

Bonjour,
Voila mon problème :
Habitué à travailler avec oracle, je dois cette fois utiliser mysql avec symfony/Doctrine.
Problème, lors de la tentative d'acces au serveur, j'ai cette magnifique erreur :

Je sais, normalement il faut activer l'extension correspondante avec php.ini, mais j'ai bien entendu essayé. j'ai aussi redémarré apache, sans amélioration.

aucune erreur à déplorer du coté de chez Apache.

Je n'y comprend plus rien... Quelqu'un pourrait il m'éclairer, je dois absolument avoir une base de projet opérationnelle pour une démonstration jeudi matin, et sans connexion à mysql, ça me semble bien compromis...
