Salut,

Ci-dessous le mail envoyé par Peter Higgins, un des responsables du projet Dojo.

Heya Dojo'ers!

We've been running, developing and supporting the Dojo 1.x line for
almost two years now [how time flies!] and the time has come to move
forward a bit ... there has been a lot of talk about what a Dojo 2.0
"would feel like", and the core developers have started learning towards
planning for this next iteration. We wanted to take a moment to step
back, look at what we did right and wrong with Dojo 1.x and give
everyone an opportunity to throw in a few cents on the overall roadmap.
What do you like? love? dislike? This thread will be a chance to voice
gripes about the current system and hopefully formulate acceptable
alternatives (or just leave some things the 'same'?) ...

Dojo is made for and by the users, so this is important to us. Please
let us know how we can make Dojo 2.x the best that it can be by helping
to iron out the roapmap for the future. No Guarantees
anything/everything will happen, but the feedback will be invaluable and
the discussion lively.

As an aside, I want to reassure everyone the Dojo 1.x line is safe,
stable, fast, and will continue to be supported well into 2.0's
lifecycle. We will clearly define the EOL of 1.x and document it with
lots of overlap for transition. We will not repeat the 0.4->-0.9
"process" done several years ago (though the API's may be different, the
migration path will be clear).

So, what say you?

Regards,
Peter
Et vous que souhaiteriez vous pour une v2 ?

Personnellement qu'un effort soit fait sur les CSS et la doc...
Et qu'une version transversale pour Mobiles (iPhone, Blackberry, Palm...) voie le jour.
