    Par défaut Problème avec une OutOfMemoryError
    Bonjour,

    Je rencontre une OutOfMemoryError lors de l'exécution de mon application.

    Le but de ma méthode est de stocker l'image que je télécharge dans la variable que j'ai nommée très originalement " image " pour l'utiliser dans une autre méthode par la suite.

    Je vous mets le code posant problème ci-dessous :

    Je parviens à éviter cette erreur en utilisant l'option " inSampleSize " mais ayant besoin d'images de qualités je ne peux pas garder cette solution.

    Quelles sont les dimensions de l'images? Une image trop grande n'a aucune chance de tenir en entier dans la mémoire d'un appareil mobile

    La taille de l'image est d'environ 300 Ko. En revanche je télécharge une cinquantaine d'images de cette taille donc le problème se situe peut-être à ce niveau là.

    Cette application que je développe en Android a déjà été développé avec Flash par mon entreprise. Flash permet l'export du projet en .apk et l'application fonctionne très bien sur le périphérique avec les images en qualité maximale. Il n'y a donc pas de raisons qu'Android ne le permette pas.

    Tu dois avoir une mauvaise gestion quelque part.
    300 * 50 = 15 000 Ko, soit ~14,5 Mo. La taille mémoire minimum est de 26 Mo (le 32 semble le plus commun) au minimum. En voyant large, tes images prennent environs 20 Mo. Donc ton application bouffe de 6 à 12 Mo seule.

    Peux-tu mettre le stacktrace complet (surtout avec le mention du heap) ?
    C'est Android, PAS Androïd, ou Androïde didiou !
    Le premier est un OS, le second est la mauvaise orthographe du troisième, un mot français désignant un robot à forme humaine.

    Membre du comité contre la phrase "ça marche PAS" en titre et/ou explication de problème.

    sauf si tu rajoute la copy la tu multiplie encore par 2

    sauf si 300k c'est la version compressée. Ce qu'il faut c'est la tailelr (largeur/hauteur) des images. Tu multiplie par 32 bits (le format choisi) et tu aura la taille occupée. Es-tu sur que la version flash charge tout en mémoire et pas plutot sur un stockage pour ouvrir les images à la demande?

    Tout d'abord merci pour vos réponses.

    Concernant la version Flash je me suis renseigné auprès de la personne ayant développé l'application et la version Flash charge bien tout en mémoire.

    Pour le nombre d'image je télécharge mon image principale (qui fait environ 4 Mo) depuis le web service. Je télécharge ensuite mes 50 calques d'environ 300 Ko chacun (qui sont des images en niveau de gris) et je les colorise. Je superpose ensuite le tout dans un frameLayout.

    Le NullPointerException découle bien évidemment du OutOfMemoryError ce n'est pas une erreur à corriger.

    j'ai bien peur qu'il faut que tu trouve une autre solution car tu monte déjà à 48 mo et 48 mo c'est déjà beaucoup il y a beaucoup de téléphone qui monte pas aussi haut.
    t'es calque tu en as besoin un par un ou tous en même temps?

    Oui malheureusement j'ai besoin de tout les calques en même temps.

    Ce qui m'étonne c'est que l'application Flash utilisant exactement les mêmes images fonctionne parfaitement alors que l'application Android provoque une OutOfMemoryError.

    Ceci provient peut-être d'une mauvaise gestion de la mémoire de ma part mais j'effectue bien un recycle() dès que possible et je ne vois pas ce que je pourrais faire de plus.

    La taille stockée de l'imag nous importe peu, ce qui nous importe ce sont ses dimensions. Car elle sera décompressée en mémoire.une image de 4M, ça me fait craindre un animal d'au minimum 2Mpixels. Hors, 2Mpixels * 32 bits = 8M. Si tes 50 calques font la même taille que l'image, tu demande gentillement à ton application de préparer 408M de mémoire vive.

    Ton téléphone va avoir une sacré migraine. => Revois tes algorithme pour travailler un morceau de l'image à la fois ou un calque à la fois.

    Si le traitement est trop important pour un périphérique mobile en ce cas pourquoi l'application Flash parvient-elle à effectuer ?

    ouais tu peu prendre ton image de base dessiner le premier calque dessus tu recycle le calque et tu charge celui d'après et ainsi de suite jusqu'au dernier comme ça tu à tout t'es calque dessiner sur ton image et la taille d'une image. par contre tu pourras pas les dissocier après.

    Soit flash se voit attribuer plus de mémoire, soit il travaille pas comme tu pense qu'il travaille, et se débrouille pour limiter le nombre de données nécessaires en mémoire.

    Merci beaucoup pour vos réponses.

    Il faut donc que je réduise le nombre de calques pour consommer moins de mémoire.

    Il est possible de fusionner plusieurs de mes calques sans dégrader le traitement, je vais donc orienter mes recherches de ce côté là.
