Je veux créer un projet xfire avec Maven mais j'ai un buid error[ vu que je suis novice je ne comprends pas vraiment ce qu'il faut faire.
Je signale que j'ai un proxy.

Il te manque des parametres sur la ligne de commande:

-DgroupId=<YOUR_PROJECT_GROUP_ID> /
-DartifactId=<YOUR_PROJECT_ID> /
-DremoteRepositories=http://snapshots.repository.codehaus.org/

Quand evenisse te dit ça :
-DgroupId=<YOUR_PROJECT_GROUP_ID> /
-DartifactId=<YOUR_PROJECT_ID> /
-DremoteRepositories=http://snapshots.repository.codehaus.org/

ça veut dire qu'il faut que tu remplaces <YOUR_PROJECT_GROUP_ID> par le groupId de ton projet, et <YOUR_PROJECT_ID> par l'artifactId de ton projet...
En plus, il faut virer tous les / avant les -D... de ta ligne de commande.

exactement. Il faut également que les paramètres de connexion à ton proxy soit défini dans le settings.xml, sinon maven ne pourra pas télécharger l'archetype
