[Debian / Jigloo / Eclipse] Je débute avec Swing - problème basique

bonjour,

une petite question : j'ai pour but de créer une appli qui a le comportement suivant : une classe principale, avec une méthode main, instancie et affiche une JFrame.Cette JFrame possède un menu dont un item instancie et affiche une JDialog, qui contient une JTable.

problème : avec les listings donnés ci-dessous, j'ai les problèmes suivants : la JFrame s'affiche bien, je clique sur l'item de menu, et là il se passe disons 5 secondes avant que la JDialog s'affiche.c'est gênant. autre problème : la JTable ne s'affiche pas, et j'arrive en survolant la JDialog à faire apparaître les titres de colonnes. là aussi c'est gênant.

savez-vous comment je peux arranger les choses?

Je pense que la JDialog met du temps à s'afficher parce que tu fais un accès réseau pour charger le modèle de la JTable.

Pour vérifier, affiche une JTable vide, et avec un peu de chance l'affichage de la JDialog sera instantané.

Pour résoudre ce problème, il faut utiliser un message d'attente, charger le modèle par un SwingWorker, et à la fin afficher la table.

c'était bien en effet le problème : j'avais oublié de lancer le serveur!
maintenant, il y a un peu d'attente mais ça reste raisonnable.

Est-ce que ton code marche bien ?

Si tu fait appel des méthodes distante par RMI, et si un utilisateur modifié une ligne, les autres utilisateurs qui voient la table, voient les changement en temps réel sans intervention (sans clique dur un bouton par exemple) ?
