access denied phpmyadmin

bonjour a tous
j'utilise MySQL Server 5.0. lorsque je le configurais, j'ai bien precise que le mot de passe du root serait <toto>
sur le fichier config.inc.php (se trouvant a la racine de phpmyadmin) j'ai bien precise le meme mot de passe que celui d'en haut.

lorsque je saisis http://localhost/phpmyadmin j'ai l'erreur suivante

Je suis un boulet en bases de données, mais je suis actuellement appelé à changer souvent entre avec et sans mot de passe. Il y a effectivement une modif à faire dans config.inc.php. Je n'ai qu'à ajouter ou enlever un mot, le mot de passe, aussi bien avec EasyPHP qu'avec WAMP5.
Au cas où ça puisse vous aider, voici un extrait de config.inc.php, qui fonctionne avec "toto" en mot de passe:
