string format en héxadécimal

Bonjour à tous,
Voila mon problème:
Je récupère un UInt32 = 17301505.
Bon la il faut le mettre en Hexa pour obtenir 0x01080001.
ensuite retirer les zéro et mettre les points pour afficher 1.8.0.1 (ce qui correspond à une version logiciel, en fait)
J'ai essayé avec string.format pour passer en héxa, pas de problème, mais connaissez vous une méthode pour formater en version logiciel sans faire une usine à gaz!

Si tu veux que les numéro >= 10 s'affiche en décimal digitHexa doit être mis à false, true dans le cas contraire.

Oui merci c'est pas trop usine a gaz!:)
J'avais essayé avec les expressions régulière, on doit pouvoir y arriver avec une seule ligne de commande, mais bon il faut aimer ça! héhé.
