Error: failed to retrieve repodata/filelists.xml.gz

Lorsque je fais une mise à jour je recois ce message d'erreur.

You could try running: package-cleanup --problems
package-cleanup --dupes

The program package-cleanup is found in the yum-utils package.
Et avant de faire une bétise je voulais m'adressé a vous.
Pour résoudre ce probleme je voulais utiliser la command
je ne suis pas très certain que ca va résoudre mon problème et me demande si je ne devrais pas limiter mon nettoyage à l'une de ces otpions:
Je pense particulièrement à yum clen package.

Eliminate any cached packages from the system. Note that pack-
ages are not automatically deleted after they are downloaded.
yum clean headers
Eliminate all of the header files which yum uses for dependency
resolution.
yum clean metadata
Eliminate all of the files which yum uses to determine the

yum to download all the metadata the next time it is run.
yum clean dbcache
Eliminate the sqlite cache used for faster access to metadata.
Using this option will force yum to recreate the cache the next
time it is run.
Si je demande avant c'est que je ne sais pas l'impact exact de l'une de ses option. Et étant donné que ceci fait un nettoyage, je souhaite pas me trouver dans une situation irréversible.
