faire une animation

bonsoir,
je voudrai faire une animation ma frame contient une image .gif et deux buttons 'Démarrer'(pour bouger l'image)et 'Arrêter'(pour stopper l'animation ).Mais le probléme que lorsque je cliqué sur Arrêter l'annimation s'arret mais quand je clique sur Démarrer pour animer a nouveau l'animation s'arrive pas .

il se peut que ton image soit hors de ton panel vu que tu ne fais que l'avancer.

le code serait plus lisible si tu choisis des noms siginficatifs pour tes variables.

Ton plus gros problème vient du fait que tu fais un Thread.sleep dans le thread de l'interface graphique, ce qui bloque tout. De fait ton bouton sera inutilisable, vu que le thread est bloqué par le sleep.

Un peu de culture OBLIGATOIRE, dans le but savoir faire des animations, pour comprendre comment marche l'interaction entre Swing et les Threads.

Accessoirement il existe sinon des api dédiées aux animations en Swing comme http://kenai.com/projects/trident/pages/Home

Toutefois elles nécessitent un certain niveau de connaissance de Swing.

@slim_java: Charger une image dans le paintComponent est une très mauvaise pratique. En effet le chargement d'un image est un opération lourde qui bloque le thread UI. De fait ce chargement sera fait à chaque repaint de l'application, ce qui créera une application lourde et qui lagge.
(accessoirement les attributs publics, le non respect des conventions de codage dans des exemples posté sur le forum c'est pas franchement génial)

je suis d'accord avec vous(bien évidemment) , j'ai pas vu la partie supérieur du code , j'ai voulu juste résoudre le problème de blocage de l'EDT
