j'aimerais comprendre la logique de la fonctions :

void gtk_table_attach_defaults(GtkTable *table, GtkWidget *child, guint left_attach, guint right_attach, guint top_attach, guint bottom_attach );

je ne comprends pas comment la paramétrer(je parle de :

guint left_attach, guint right_attach, guint top_attach, guint bottom_attach
)
et comment organiser mes boutons avec??

Le GtkTable est un tableau. Pour y insérer ton GtkWidget enfant, il faut spécifier où le mettre dans ce tableau (logique...).

Par exemple, pour la 1ère case en haut à gauche, ce sera :
left_attach=0, right_attach=1, top_attach=0, bottom_attach=1

Ton widget enfant peut aussi occuper plusieurs cases (un peu comme la fonction "fusionner" dans Excel) :
