creer un loader sur ma page d index

Salut,

Voici mon probleme, je developpe en ce moment une application web lors de la connexion, a mon application un certains nombre d element et d objet son charge ce qui pose un petit probleme d affichage notament sur firefox
ce que j aimerai donc faire c est un genre de loader qui permettra a l application de ce charger correctement.

N ayant aucune experience dans ce domaine j aimerai savoir si quelqu un a une idee de comment on doit si prendre.

PS : ce code date un peu, j'me souviens pu très bien s'il est "joli" mais en tout cas une chose est sure, il fonctionne ^^
