Récupérer le pid d'un script

Bonjour,
Mon problème porte sur la récupération du pid d'un script shell qui appel un programme codé en C. Par exemple le script test_pid.sh

Ce que je cherche à faire c'est comment récupérer le pid de test_pid.sh depuis test_pidc.
Est-ce possible sans pour autant faire comme ceci :

Utilise, dans ton programme C, la fonction getppid qui retourne l'identifiant du processus père (ici celui qui correspond à test_pid.sh)

Le code ci-dessus affiche le pid du processus père.
