Configuration Apache SSL pour Tomcat

Salut à tous !
J'ai un petit (gros) problème pour passer une application web en https.
De base mon appli est installé sous tomcat dans le répertoire webapps.

J'ai essayé de suivre le tuto suivant :

Donc j'ai installé Apache et j'ai suivi toutes les instructions... Seulement le tuto date de 2004 et j'ai l'impression qu'il n'est pas très très à jour... Existe-t'il un tuto plus récent qui explique comment s'y prendre avec tomcat 6 et apache 2 ?

Parceque là j'ai vraiment du mal :D

Le plus simple, je crois, c'est d'installer une version récente d'Apache packagée avec mod_ssl, car le gros souci avec ce tuto et la version 2.0 c'est qu'il faut installer mod_ssl.so séparément et si on n'a pas le bonne version d'Apache, ça plante. Donc essaie d'installer un Apache récent qui contient déjà mod_ssl puis fait le reste du tuto pour la gestion des certificats et la conf SSL mais zape l'installation.

Bon me voilà au rapport :king:

J'ai donc installé apache 2 avec mod_ssl.
J'ai crée mon certificat tout comme c'est mis dans le tuto
j'ai modif httpd.conf également...

Donc pour le moment j'arrive bien à me connecter en https en faisant : https://localhost ou https://127.0.0.1
par conter maintenant j'aimerai accéder à mes appli sur tomcat toujours avec cette connection https... et ca ne fonctionne pas... j'y arrive en avec http://localhost:8080/monAppli mais en https ca ne veut pas !

une petite idée ? faut-il que je configure également mes fichiers server.xml et web.xml dans tomcat ?

Autant pour moi, j'avais lu ton poste trop vite : tu n'as de JkMount : quand tu fais http://localhost:8080/monAppli tu tapes directement sur Tomcat, pas Apache.

Bref, faut mettre des trucs mais je ne sais pas quoi : je ne connais pas Tomcat. En revanche, DVP a la réponse ici.

Ferais-je une erreur dans ces lignes ? es-ce qu'avec les nouvelles versions ca a changé un peu ?

Pour savoir ce qui ne va pas, regarder les logs d'erreur d'Apache est souvent (voire toujours) une bonne idée :mrgreen:

Effectivement c'est souvent un reflexe que je n'ai pas...

En tout cas je viens d'aller voir mes logs... et j'ai 2 pitis problèmes :D :
- Il ne me marque rien concernant mes dernières tentatives de connexions échouées... La dernière que j'ai c'est aujourd'hui 8h27 alors que j'ai reessayer depuis...
- Et je comprends pas grand chose à tout ca aussi :D

Outre le problème de syntaxe, tes directives JkMount ne sont pas correctes.
De plus, as tu bien défini des workers ?

Il te faut definir un worker comme ceci par exemple :

Les parametres parlent d'eux mêmes ;-). Verifie dans le fichier server.xml que le connecteur ajp13 ecoute bien sur le port 8009 (c'est par defaut).

Si ta webapp s'appelle toto, alors ton Jkmount doit être tel que :
JkMount /toto/* tomcat1
Toutes les requêtes avec toto dans l'URI seront alors envoyées au Tomcat situé à l'adresse 1.2.3.4

il me met une erreur lorsque je fais "start" sur apache mais les logs me disent rien.... les derniers datent toujours du 8h27 (ceux que j'ai mis tout à l'heure)

Et pour le JkLogLevel warning je vois pas trop quoi mettre d'autre ! ?

Fait un "httpd -S" dans le Bin d'Apache. Ca verifie si ta config est Ok syntaxiquement.
Pour des logs détaillées utilises les directives FormatLog et CustomLog

Alors je viens d'essayer httpd -S....

Il m'a mis que j'avais une erreur de syntaxe à JkWorkersFile.... Donc je l'ai mis en commentaire en attendant...
J'ai recommencé il m'a dis que c'était le suivant qui avait une erreur : JkLogFile
Et idem pour JkMount

C'est bizard....es-ce que j'aurai oublié de décommenter un LoadModule ? autre que mod_ssl ?

Je comprends pas...le SSL il est entre ton client (navigateur) et Apache. Ca doit suffire. Est ce que Apache et Tomcat sont sur la même machine ?

Heuu oui Tomcat et Apache sont installé sur le même ordinateur....

pour le moment je veux juste voir si ca fonctionne en local (c'est pour ca que j'ai mis 127.0.0.1 partout). Et après je changerai cette adresse pour y accéder depuis l'extérieur...

Là, ta log dit juste que Apache est démarré mais ca ne dit pas pourquoi il ne sert pas ta requête.

Il faut absolument que tu traces de façon détaillé ce qu'il se passe dans ton serveur au moment ou tu demandes l'URL...sans ça on ne peut pas savoir.

Regarde par exemple : http://httpd.apache.org/docs/trunk/fr/logs.html

Le "ca marche pas"...on ne peut rien en tirer. As tu un code http d'erreur ? un 404, 503...?

Je viens de changer la version de mon mod_jk et il commence maintenant j'ai une belle erreur 503 !! mais c'est déjà mieux j'ai quelque chose....
Avant il me mettait juste "page introuvable"

Y a quoi dans ton fichier server.xml (fichier en entier, stp) ?

- mais je n'accède pas à https://localhost/monAppli (j'ai une erreur 503 : Service Temporarily Unavailable)
- J'ai essayé aussi http://localhost:8080/monAppli pour voir et il me fait la redirection vers https://localhost:8443/monAppli mais ca ne fonctionne pas

J'y connais vraiment rien à Tomcat mais je dirais que ton fichier server.xml contient trop de choses. Je ne sais pas du tout si c'est comme ça qu'il faut faire mais je commenterais les deux <Connector> qui sont sur le port 8080 et celui sur le port 8443 : comme disais tesla, SSL ne doit exister qu'entre Apache et le navigateur, et Apache parle AJP seulement avec Tomcat.

Ce que je ne comprends pas c'est qu'Apache dit que Tomcat n'écoute pas en AJP sur le port 8009. Je dirais que ça vient du redirectPort="8443" présent dans le Connector AJP. Donc essaie en supprimant ce redirectPort="8443" du Connector AJP écoutant sur le port 8009 :

Ah ben c'est cool si ca marche.
Un truc : je * devine * que l'erreur de demarrage dans ton Tomcat vient du fait qu'il y a 2 connecteurs qui sont déclarés sur le port 8080. Surtout celui la : tomcatThreadPool.

Quand tu as mis en commentaire le connecteur :

Ca a résolu ton problème car alors il n'y avait plus que le tomcatThreadPool qui ecoute sur le port 8080. Mais en faisant ça tu n'a plus acces au Tomcat Manager.
Change le port d'ecoute du connecteur tomcatThreadPool (8081 par exemple) et tu dois pouvoir remettre les autres lignes comme avant.

J'ai mis 8081 pour le tomcatThreadPool
J'ai décommenté le port 8080
Mais il a fallu laisser en commentaire le port 8443 (ce qui parait logique puisque je passe par apache pour le mode sécurisé non ?)
