Problème d'installation de Postgres sur Windows XP

Salut à tous,
Je souhaite installer le SGBD Postgres afin de créer des bases de données sur lesquelles je pourrais m'exercer. Pour ce faire, j'ai utilisé postgresql-8.3.4-1, j'ai lancé postgresql-8.3.msi pour l'installation, mais ceci s'interrompt quelques instants plus tard. Le fichier de logs écrit vers la fin :
