Numerotation automatique en php

Salut a tous,
Je suis étudiant, et actuellement je fais mon projet de fin de semestre,
Je fais un projet pour une agence immobilière...
Je souhaiterais faire dans un formulaire d'insertion de données, une numerotation automatique qui s'affichera automatiquement sur chaque nouvelle fiche pour le champ 'référence'.
Pourriez-vous svp me guider dans l'écriture de mon code php. Je ne sais par ou commencer. Merci de votre aide.

Il suffit dans ta table de mettre le champs référence en auto Increment :king:

Merci pour l'astuce, maintenant je voudrais faire afficher justement ce numéro dans ma fiche d'insertion. T'as une idée de comment faire. Je travaille sur cette page actuellement, je t'envoie l'adresse de cette page ce soir si tu le veux bien. et encore merci.

Voila à quoi ressemble mon code pour ma page vente_insertion.php
Ce que moi je voudrais faire c'est que la valeur de mon champ REF qui est actuellement "AP000" augmente à la prochaine fois. Lorsque j'aurais clicker sur le bouton "Enregistrez" les données doivent etre enregistrer dans ma base de donnees et apres revenir sur la page vente_insertion ave le champ REF"AP001".
Merci de me guider sur les étapes à suivre.
