How can I creat a programm with java under windows 10 in order to open an spreadsheet in libreoffice calc form

Hi,everybody, this is my first thread about computer in any forum in my life. I am a beginner of java. I learn Java just for fun. I bought and read many books of Java since last year, but the more I read, the more confus i have. Actually i would like to develop a programm for myself with Java to collect some data from internet automatically everyday.The first step is that this programm can open an empty spreadsheet on my windows 10(german version) desktop, the spreadsheet is an libreoffice 6.0 calc file(in german).The second step is after openning the empty file, the programm can go to a webpage which is connected with internet can copy some datas from different websites. The 3rd Step is that the programm pastes the information from internetsite to the file which i in step 1 creates. Step 4 is i save this document with my java programm.

Now i am working hard on the first step. My problem is I saw there are many products on line for reading openoffice calc file, but i am not sure which one i should use, such like: Jopendocument, Jedit, Q10, PSPad, DataGridviews,Xml TextReader,Xml/Text/Writer, AdoptOpenJDK,Oracle Java...

Actually i guess it should be Jopendocument. Because some people recommand it in different forums. Now my question is, what should i do with it? I have download it in my Elipslibary.

jOpenDocument seems to be a good candidate for your first step (open and write in a Oo spreadsheet).
For the second and third steps I do not understand if you want to consume all structured datas from one website or various datas from many websites. If you want to collect structured datas (Xml, Json, Csv, ..) you can use any WebClient or the native HTTPUrlConnection to get the datas and one parser for the kind of data that you have. But if you want to extract datas from HTML, you should bette go with JSoup which is an awesome HTML Parser.

Once you have choosen your libraries, you should add them to your project's classpath. Unfortunately, this can be done manually or via your IDE or via your build tool if you have one. When the libraries (and their classes) are available to your project you can use them like any other classes (new OpenDocument(); should be ok). At this time you can jump into the library documentation and write the code you want.
