Hybrid cache hdd
Bonjour,
Je m'intéresse fortement à une technologie dont je viens d'apprendre l’existence, l'hybride cache.
j'ai pas forcément tout compris dans l'architecture et c'est pour cela que je viens ici vous demander de l'aide.
Je n'arrive pas à comprendre si il s'agit d'un cache uniquement en lecture ou un cache en lecture/écriture?
Avez-vous des documentations sur le sujet?
Je suis intéressé par du cache en lecture/écriture si ça existe.

Je présumes que tu veux parler des disques SSHD.
En gros tu as un disque SSD inclus dans le HDD qui lui sert de cache. Tu n'as pas accès au SSD, c'est le disque qui gère tout seul. Les données récemment et/ou régulièrement accédés seront dans le cache SSD pour un accès plus rapide.

Non non, je ne parle pas de sshd, mais bien d'un system de cache avec ssd.
Au travail, notre fournisseur de solution cloud nous en a fait une présentation succincte. Il précisait bien que des disques ssd ultra rapide était utilisé pour le cache en écriture sur des hdd standart. Cela permet de faire des économies et d’allier la rapidité du ssd et le coût des hdd.
Sur Linux, j'ai commencé à regarder, mais je n'ai trouvé que des articles sur dm-cache. Je ne suis pas sur que ca soit ca qui est mis en place.

ok, c'est la même chose que tu gères toi-même.
