Decouper un tableau selon un motif determine

Je cherche une methode pour decouper un tableau de string selon un motif precis, par exemple;
pour String [] tab = {un, deux, trois, quatre, cinq};
pour un motif de 2; on s'attend au resultat suivant: String [][] tab2 = {(un, deux ), (deux, trois ), (trois,quatre ), (quatre,cinq) };
pour un motif de 3; on s'attend au resultat suivant: String [][] tab3 = {(un, deux, trois ), (deux, trois, quatre ), (trois, quatre, cinq), (quatre, cinq, ) };
et ainsi de suite;
