Comunication vb.net to SAP

Hi everyone,

I'm still beginer and today I would like to start learning how to make comunication between my windows applicatio and SAP using vb.net,

would it be possible to advice me from where and how shall I start??

there's a dll provided by sap to connect from a .net application, and some functions add to be set in sap in order to be used from externals connectors
