Erreur "Class not found"

Bonjour,
J'ai déjà réalisé quelques applications avec Spring (il y a un bout de temps) et je m'y remet cependant je tombe sur:

Cannot find class [Hello] for bean with name 'event' defined in ServletContext resource [/WEB-INF/applicationContext.xml]; nested exception is java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: Hello

Sachant que ma classe hello ce situe à la racine de mon programme (avant j'avais un package) et le contenu du app-context.xml :

toujours mettre ses classes dans un package pour éviter ce genre d'ennui.

D'autant plus que les classes dans le "default package" ne se sont accessibles qu'entre eux même.

Justement à l'origine mes classes étaient dans un package je les ai donc passé dans le default pour éliminer les éventuelles erreurs possibles.

Au début j'étais parti sur cela :

</bean>

Puis je suis parti sur quelque chose de plus simple sans package.
