Problème boot XP/Ubuntu

Bonjour,

j'ai un très gros problème car je n'ai plus Windows XP dans mon PC qui était booté avec Ubuntu
Ce matin ,j'ai reçu un message me demandant d'installer les mises à jour,ce que j'ai fait.

Maitenant lorsque je démarre le PC ,je n'ai que Ubuntu comme choix et le net n'est plus présent sur Ubuntu(je suis conncté à un autre PC)

J'aurais besoin d'aide car je ne sais pas comment faire.

ben il a dû supprimer l'entrée windows dans ton gestionnaire de démarrage (grub sous ubuntu je crois...)

tout est dans ce fichier /boot/grub/menu.lst

Alors j'ai tapé

Reste à savoir sur quelle partition est ton windows ?
Car là, par défaut dans le menu.lst de hiko-seijuro, c'est la partition 0 du disque 0, mais ce n'est peut-être pas ça chez toi...

avant d'avoir fait la mise à jour de mon Ubuntu tout allait très bien mais depuis...

Comment,je fais pour savoir sur quelle partition est mon Windows car Windows n'apparait pas en entree.

est ce que tu sais monté les partitions sous linux ?
si oui essai de monter chaque partition de type : /dev/hdaX et regarde ce quelle contient
des qu'ils s'agit des dossiers windows (type windows, program files, ...)

alors tu as le numéro de la partition windows

merci à tous pour votre aide,j'ai réussi à remettre Windows XP et le net sur les 2.

Est ce que vous avez une idée de pourquoi la mise à jour de mes paquets sous Ubuntu a fait que mon PC se dérègle ?
Je ne ferais plus les mises à jour car :twisted:

Je voudrais également que quelqu'un m'aide pour mettre Windows en 1ère position dans les entrées.

Il te suffit de changer le numéro

. 0 c'est le premier, et si tu comptes, tu arrives à 6 pour que windows soit le système par défaut.
