    Par défaut samba 2.0.23b et windows xp
    j essaye de faire un reseau administrer par un serveur samba sur mandriva 2007, mais la documentation pour faire ca sur cette version n'est pas accessible. j'aimerai bien avoir un tit coup de pousse pour cette version de samba.
    j ai etablis le reseau entre mon serveur et mes deux stations windows, j arrive a voir sur les deux stations windows les repertoires partager par l autre station windows aisni que le serveur linux samba, sauf que y aucune identification et aucune securite.
    vos reponses m aideraient à avancer dans ma configuration.

    mon smb.conf ne contient pa grand chose, je dois vous le copier a partir de linux, mais voila ce qui contient essentiellement, au depart j ai active la ligne de ou il faut mettre guest account = nobody ou pcguest, je mettais pcguest sauf que ca me posait des problemes sur les machines windows, alors je la rend commentaire. mais il y a pa d'authentification. je suis pas un expers dans la configuration, je suis un debutant. je vous enverrai le smb.conf, mais pour avoir une authentification comment il faut faire?

    Bah en fait c'est un tout ^^

    Faut rajouter plusieurs lignes dans ton smb.conf pour avoir une authentification.

    Post ton smb.conf et je te dirai ce qu'il faut rajouter/enlever.

    voila mon smb.conf, il est complet avec toutes les lignes par defaut et les lignes que j ai modifie.
