fichiers audio .wma non lus après mise à jour vers Ubuntu 16.10

Bonjour à tous

Il y a des matins comme ça où vient une mauvaise nouvelle, mais c'est plus dur le dimanche matin

Je suis passé de la version 16.04 à la version 16.10. J'ai tout un ensemble de fichiers audio (extension .wma) que j'arrivais parfaitement à lire et à écouter sous la version 16.04 et qui maintenant sont totalement muets

Lorsque je sélectionne un fichier, la fenêtre vidéo s'ouvre. Systématiquement, le son est coupé. La barre de déroulement s'affiche, curseur sur la position 0.00, l'indicateur de Lecture/Pause est sur lecture et basta, niente, nada. Même si je clique sur la barre de déroulement, rien n'y fait

Pourtant, le passage à la version 16.10 s'est fait (très lentement

) sans problème.

Toute suggestion sera hautement appréciée.

en premier lieu, je vous conseillerai d'installer/réinstaller gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg

Passez les commandes :

 sudo add-apt-repository ppa:mc3man/trusty-media

Si cela ne fonctionne toujours pas, lancez un fichier par VLC en mode console, vous devriez avoir un message plus explicite...

Bonsoir,

je soupçonne que les paquets non libres ne soient pas installés. Avant de pouvoir utiliser des formats comme le wma, il faut installer ubuntu-restricted-extras

Il y a un point complet accessible ici pour installer toutes ces petites choses.

Résultat des courses

J'ai donc installé ubuntu-restricted-extras, puis j'ai voulu de nouveau installer gstreamer0.10-ffmpeg. Même message disant qu'il ne le trouve pas. Pourtant, en cherchant plus loin dans le lien fourni par killian68 j'ai trouvé des ordres pour installer gstreamer0.10-plugins-ugly regionset et joli message : ces paquets sont déjà installés !

Hum,
alors petit test histoire d'en savoir un peu plus.

Est ce que VLC est installé ? Si oui; il est possible de lancer VLC et le fichier wma en ligne de commande

vlc <filename>

S'il y a un soucis; normalement la console devrait etre un peu plus verbeuse.

Sinon, un fichier de test wma que je sais fonctionner et qui est recupérable ici donne quel résultat avec la commande ci dessus ?

Ne te casses pas le derrière pour rien

Convertir les en .flac ou en aac/ .mp4 (en .mpa ???)

Édit: C'est sous Linux, c'est ffmpeg et non pas ffmpeg.exe

Pour répondre à foetus : pas de bol ! ffmpeg.exe n'existe pas sur mon ordi....

Pour répondre (partiellement) à killian68 j'ai chargé le fichier que tu m'a indiqué et il est d'un silence assourdissant

Je viens d'installer Vlc et là je peux lire mes fichiers et surtout les entendre

Bon, le problème est résolu...et ne l'est pas ! Cela m'énerve un peu qu'un ordi ait le dernier mot, et par dessus tout que je ne sache pas pourquoi je ne dispose plus de cette fonction. Alors je vais laisser la conversation ouverte encore un peu, des fois que....

Et surtout merci à ceux qui m'ont apporté leur aide

ffmpeg non plus n'était pas installé, mais je l'ai installé et l'ordre que tu mas donné (corrigé) fonctionne et en effet, je peux lire le nouveau fichier .mp4

Encore merci !

Néanmoins je reste toujours sur ma faim concernant les .wma

PS : L'ordre fonctionne parfaitement, cependant j'ai une centaine de fichiers .wma à transformer. J'ai cherché dans la doc de ffmpeg sur Internet et je n'ai rien trouvé pour faire quelque chose comme *.wma -> *.mp4 ! Cela existe-t-il ? La doc est peu causante en exemples !

Lorsque j'ai la bonne commande pour la conversion d'un fichier, et que la commande ne peut pas faire N fichiers, je me fais un petit script comme suit :

Content que tu puisse de nouveau lire tes fichiers !

J'ai croisé un post sur le forum Ubuntu qui disait, qu'après une upgrade il fallait parfois réinstaller ce qu'on appel Ubuntu restricted extras, néanmoins ils ne semblent pas disponibles pour la version 16.10 mais tu peux toujours essayer

J'ai aussi pu voir ceci :
