    Salut,
    tout est dans le titre. J'ai installé Tomcat 5.5.12 par l'exe et le service Apache Tomcat se lance puis s'arrête quelques secondes après. Quelqu'un à une idée ?

    Je ne pense pas, il n'y a rien d'autres ... mais comment le vérifier ?

    Tu peux commencer par identifier les services qui pourraient gêner , comme Apache si il existe sur ton poste.

    Mais le mieux c'est pas exemple de modifier le port dans le fichier de config de tomcat.

    Tu as des messages d'erreurs qui s'affichent ?

    même résultat avec le port 8081.
    Dans l'observateur d'événement il y a bien les 3 messages : service démarré, en cours d'éxécution et arrêté, le tout en 3 secondes ....

    voilà .....

    Ce qui est étonnant c'est que j'ai une vielle version 4.1.30 qui marche bien ...

    Bonjour,

    quelle version du JDK utilises tu ?

    cette version nécessite le JDK1.5 ou un peu de manipulations pour fonctionner avec le JDK1.4.

    Comme cela a été dit, Tomcat 5.5 est prévu pour être utilisé avec Java 1.5...

    Apparemment il est possible de le faire fonctionner avec Java 1.4 en suivant les instructions du fichier "RUNNING.txt"...

    Mais le plus simple serait d'utiliser Tomcat 5.0...

    Pour utiliser Tomcat 5.5 avec un JDK 1.4.x, tu doit utiliser compat.zip, dispo en téléchargement au même endroit que Tomcat
