Google wave scenarios with SAP
(copied from Sandbox 10/01/2009)
Starting a wave in order to discuss potential usages of Google wave with SAP.
Suggestion for goals:
* Identify value generating ideas for using Google wave with SAP solutions
* Brainstorm around useful wave robots and gadgets
* Gain experience on how to integrate google wave with SAP (Enterprise Services vs REST etc)
* Work on architecturing principles, how to place the logic, presentation and configuration.
* When to use structured and unstructured data, and how to integrate the two.
* Provide a code repository open to everyone with example code
* Usability related to data integration
* Using Googles Wave solution or use 3rd party
* Security concerns. If a robot supplies a customer data, the wave should only be shared with people authorized to see the data << yes, but security is a concern at the level of conversation, not the level of the robot or gadget. If I, not a robot, were to throw customer data into a wavelet, then the concern is still there. I'm not saying there should be no security of course, we just need to be sure where it should be implemented.

* Some minor issues with the tabbed one
* SAP NetWeaver Web Dynpro Java Component for Embedding Waves (TFR)
* Looks good with Chrome, doesn't work properly with FF 3.53 + IE 6.0, not tested with other browsers
* SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer Model for Embedding Waves (TFR)
* Web Dynpro ABAP Component for Embedding Waves (TFR)
Open tasks:
* Should we have a section tag for our blogs on SDN and a forum?
* SSO handling (Oauth?)
