Installation de ubuntu sur disque dur externe.

bonjour,

je voulais installer ubuntu sur mon dique dur externe (USB) et je voulais installer grub sur le disque externe pour que je peux booter sur ubuntu de n'importe quel pc (pour ca j'ai changer l'emplacement par défaut de grub j'ai mis (hd2) au lieux de (hd0) ), l'installation c'est bien passée, je boot bien sur le disque usb au demarrage mais j'ai une erreur2 avec grub, je ne sais pas quoi changer dans menu.lst

bonjour,
si tu boot directement sur le dd externe c'est hd0,0
normal puisque c'est le 1er disque et la 1 er partition
par contre tu lancerais ton dd externe depuis un grub sur le disque interne en fonction du nombre de dd interne se serait hd1,0 si 1 dd interne et hd2,0 si 2 dd interne.
