Problème d'installation de Oracle 9.2.0.4 sur SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 SP3

Bonjour,

Dans le cadre d'un projet, nous avons installé une SuSE Linux Enterprise Server 9 SP3 (+ correctifs de sécurité) qui doit héberger une base Oracle 9.2.0.8 + WebSphere.

Pour Linux c'est OK, j'ai suivi les recommandations concernant la pré-installation d'Oracle 9.2.0.4 (il faut apparement passer par là, ensuite patcher en 9.2.0.8)
J'ai donc configuré les variables d'environnement (LD_ASSUME_KERNEL...), modifié le sysctl.conf, installé orarun...

Je lance donc l'installer et là, premier problème, l'interface apparaît, mais les boutons du bas de l'interface n'ont aucun effet lorsque l'on clique dessus (sauf les deux boutons du dessus fonctionnent).

J'essaye de trouver une solution, je change le oraparam.ini situé dans ./install/linux, je met le jre de la distribution (1.4.2)
Là, les boutons réagissent. J'ai les mêmes erreurs en console sauf tout ce qui concerne adobe font specific

J'essaye de faire une installation SOFTWARE ONLY. Tout va bien, mais l'installeur se fige lors de l'installation du premier package (jre-1.1.8.0) : il essaye d'établir le lien, mais àa mouline indéfiniment.

Auriez vous déjà rencontré ce genre de problème ? Existe t-il une solution ?
Nous avons installé une SLES 9 SP3 32 bits, sur une architecture 32-64 (Intel).

Voila ce que me donne la commande id oracle :

uid=1001(oracle) gid=55(dba) groupes=55(dba),14(uucp),16(dialout),17(audio),33(video)

J'ai oublié de mettre le groupe oinstall, je ne sais pas si ça pose problème (vu dans les installations de la 10g)

Bon,

J'ai supprimé l'utilisateur oracle, j'ai desinstallé puis reinstallé le package orarun (au départ j'avais créé un compte oracle en tant qu'utilisateur)

Ensuite, j'ai modifie le compte oracle pour m'y connecter.

J'ai toujours le même soucis :
-> Avec le JRE embarqué d'oracle, j'ai les boutons Next, Previous et Uninstall qui ne réagissent pas aux clics
-> Avec le JRE de la distrib, j'ai un link pending sur l'installation du Java 1.1.8

En faisant unset LANG, je n'ai plus les erreurs Java (sauf adobe font pour le JRE embarqué de l'installeur)

Quelqu'un aurait une idée ? Apparement je ne suis pas le seul à avoir eu le problème, mais promis si je trouve, le le mettrai sur ce sujet (balise [RESOLU])

T'as bien fait tout ça :

* Modify your kernel settings in /etc/sysctl.conf as follows. If the current value for any parameter is higher than the value listed in this table, do not change the value of that parameter.

kernel.shmmax = 1/2 of physical RAM. This would be the value 2147483648 for a 4Gb RAM system.

To activate these new settings into the running kernel space, run the “sysctl –p” command

* The oracle account used to install Oracle 10.2.0.X, should not have the Oracle install related variables set by default. For example setting ORACLE_HOME, PATH, LD_LIBRARY_PATH to include Oracle binaries in .profile, .login file and /etc/profile.d should be completely avoided.

4. Set Shell Limits for the oracle User, using appropriate section of the 10gR2 Quick Install Guide for x86.

- Add the following settings to /etc/security/limits.conf

- Add or edit the following line in the /etc/pam.d/xdm file, if it does not already exist:

7. Now you are ready to invoke your Oracle Universal Installer. Be sure that you are LOGGED ON as the oracle account. Log directly into the install session. Do not use any variety of “su”.

1) Check Note 169706.1 to make sure that all of the required packages have been installed, including XFree86-libs-4.3.0-78.EL.i386.rpm

2) If the problem still occurs, install package xorg-x11-deprecated-libs-6.8.2-1.EL.13.20.i386.rpm which also contains the libXp.so.6 library

3) Run the runInstaller

Il faut jouer avec les touches Caps Lock, Num Lock et Pause pour "décoincer" les boutons "Next" qui sont parfois inefficace.(On voit qu'on clique mais il ne se passe rien)

Essayez de forcer l'utilisation du JRE 1.4 avec la ligne JRE_LOCATION du oraparam.ini (répertoire install/linux)

Merci pour les infos. Je vais rééssayer une fois que j'aurai la machine sous la main (je suis en déplacement)

Bonjour,

J'ai trouvé la source du problème et j'ai résolu l'affaire :
-> Utilisation du JRE embarqué d'Oracle
-> Une fois l'interface lancée, désactivation du vérrouillage numérique
-> Une fois cela fait, les boutons du bas sont accessible
-> Les linking se passent bien et tout est allé au bout

Maintenant je vais devoir passer de 9.2.0.4->9.2.0.8 en mode base full cette fois ci, en espérant avoir moins de soucis
