Damn small linux demarre pas

Bonjour, je vous ecris car je perds espoir la ... ca fait quelques heures que je suis dessus et ca veut pas ...




J'ai un pc avec VISTA et KUBUNTU en dual boot ...
et je voudrais installer DSL (Damn Small Linux) mais la ... probleme !!

Alors je lance le live CD de DSL je fais "install to HD" ... l'install se fait correctement, je reboot mais rien n'apparait dans mon grub.!!




Alors j'essaye de modifier mon fichier "/boot/grub/menu.lst" mais ca marche toujours pas ...
Il me met cette erreur : "ERROR 17 : CANNOT MOUNT SELECTED PARTITION"
Voici mon fichier, le DSL est a la fin (KNOPPIX) :

Remarque 1 : avec le Live CD de DSL je vois mes partitions en "hda1, hda2, ..., hda5" alors que sous ubuntu je vois mais partitions en "sda1, sda2, ..., sda5"... est-ce normal ??

Si vous voulez verifier que mon install est bien faite, voici ma partition (sda5) montee depuis mon KUBUNTU :

ton DSL installe t il un autre grub?

car dans ce cas, celui-ci ecrase le grub de Kubuntu
Avec le grub actuel, passe en édition en tapant e et tu pourras lister les partition accessibles

or ton /boot est sur sda5

essaie de réinstaller grub en étant sous Kubuntu

J'ai essaye de change le "(hd0,3)" en "(hd0,4)" mais ca ne change rien ... toujours la meme erreur. (en fait c'etait comme ca avant et j'avais fait plein de modifs).

J'ai aussi reessayer de reinstaller le grub mais rien n'y fait ...

Oui, DSL me propose d'installer un autre boot loader ... et lorsqu'il le fait il me propose lilo ou grub ... je choisis grub ...
Et il me met cette "erreur 17 : cannot mount selected partition" a ce moment la...
Ensuite, quand je redemarre, il me met encore et toujours cette erreur 17 ...

Je viens aujourd'hui de partitionner avec un cd de KUBUNTU ma partition en ext3.
Je reinstalle dsl ensuite et ... surprise : ERREUR 17 !!! lool

Je sais vraiment plus quoi faire ...

as tu déjà trop de données sous Kubuntu?

autrement, efface la partition où est Kubuntu, installe ensuite DSL pour voir si ça fait toujours ERREUR 17
