[GRUB/UBUNTU] Configurer boot windows [Résolu]

Salut a tous ,

J'ai installé Ubuntu 7.04 ce matin et j'ai perdu mon boot windows XP (ma faute, j'avais cas mieux lire ).

J'aimerai configurer Grub pour booter sur Windows XP

J'explique ma configuration vu avec GParted :
- 1ere disque SATA 160 Go
-> 1ere partition NTFS (/dev/sda1)
- 2nd disque SATA 80 Go
-> 1ere partition NTFS (/dev/sdb1)
-> Partition non allouée (je ne sais pas pourquoi)
-> Partition logique (/dev/sdb2)
-> 2eme partition ext3 (dev/sdb6)
-> 3eme partition linux-swap (dev/sdb7)
-> 4eme partition NTFS (dev/sdb5)

Windows est installé sur E: avec l'installation d'Ubuntu, sdb1 était C: et sdb1 était D:.

J'espère qu'il y a une solution car veux pas tout réinstaller

Edit : Probléme resolu (honte sur moi)
Il suffisai de mettre : root (hd0,0)
Logique en sache que windows se trouve sur le Disque 2 en 2eme partition windows et 4 en linux
M'enfin, j'espere que ca servira pour certains

vu la date du dernier post je ne sais pas si j'aurai une réponse,
j'ai le meme soucis que toi,

moi en voulant redimentionner une partition ext3 avec gparted en redemarant ça m'a bousiller mon système de boot,

j'ai donc formaté et reinstaller ubuntu sur un disque 1
le soucis maintenant est que je ne peux plus booter sous xp.
donc je pose la question avant de faire plus de conneries avec le cd d'xp,
quels moyen y a t-il pour retrouver mon multiboot xp/ubuntu?

oui j'ai regardé, mais bien souvent ce n'est pas la meme distribution que la mienne, alos je n'ai pas préféré y toucher avant que quelqu'un me donne le feu vert.
je suis encore un peu newbie sous linux: yaisse2:
j'aimerai juste pouvoir rebooter sous windows, sinon je le formatte aussi mais yaura le meme soucis je pense, windows va passer prioritaire face à linux apres, et jne sais pas non plus comment le reparer ça .

Beh le truc est que si tu ré-installes XP, il va écraser le reste, donc tu te retrouveras à devoir tout refaire de novo.

Lorsque tu démarres, après le bip système, tu as un écran noir avec les différents OS présents sur ton PC. Combien en as-tu à ce moment?
Peux-tu poster le résultat de fdisk -l dans un terminal?

J'ai résolu mon problème, qui est revenu plusieurs fois d'ailleurs
l'astuce est de rajouter dans ton menu.lst les lignes suivantes :

Si ca marche pas il ne te restera plus qu'à jongler avec (hdX,Y).
Si je me souviens bien X = numéro du disque et Y = numéro de partition.
