je ne comprends pas pourquoi ça ne marche pas
je suis sous debian sid.
je viens juste de refaire ma machine en espérant que ça marche.
j'ai fait une install normal : Debian 3.1r2 sans package.
puis :

aptitude install gnome
je me suis loggué sous un user, j'ai fait un startx, tout c'est bien passé.
seul truc bizarre : j'ai installé firefox et quand j'allais dans un terminal sous X, lançais firefox, il ne se passait rien :s idem pour mozilla.
bah...
je fais un reboot.
now plus rien marche :s

car il te manque les drivers des périphéries /dev/psaux et /dev/input/mice

ben non, je suis juste passé en unstable, je sais pas trop ce qu'il fait mais je pense pas qu'il change le noyau si ?
comment je fais pour réinstaller les périphériques ?
parce que la dernière fois j'ai aussi perdu mon eth0 alors que je n'ai rien fait d'autre que de passer en unstable et install xorg... du coup j'ai reinstall ma debian et là ça part pour faire la meme :s

j'ai bien vérifié. /dev/psaux et /dev/input/mice existent. Il y a d'ailleurs d'autres fichier dans /dev/input.
Que veux tu dire par supprimer la souris du serverLayout ? l'enlever de mon xorg.conf et donc plus avoir de souris :s euh.. j'en ai un peu besoin...

Sinon, j'ai relevé un truc qui me semble important.
A l'origine, j'ai un kernel 2.6.15 installé avec ma sarge 3.1.
lors du passage en sid, le Init semble être actualisé. Voici un bout de message que j'ai lors du boot :

apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade
pour passer en unstable. (changement de stable en unstable ds le sources.list)

mais je l'ai fait avant d'install xorg et gnome il me semble puisque de toute façon xorg n'est pas dispo en stable...

après avoir install xorg, j'ai mis gnome, je l'ai lancé et je n'ai eu aucun pb :s
Il tournait niiquel :s
j'ai install firefox, je l'ai lancé en console depuis X et il ne se passait rien... mozilla pareil...
j'ai donc rebooté.
Et depuis j'ai ce problème :s
C'est vraiment bizarre, parce que j'ai eu un systeme qui semblait marché au début :s

un apt-get install kernel ne marche pas, il trouve pas le paquet correspondant :s
