Bonjour,

Yum reste bloqué sur la ligne
"Reading Reposity metadata in from local files"

J'ai tenté de réinstaller yum 2.4.3 depuis les sources, cela ne change rien

mon noyau est 2.6.16-1.2111_fc4

merci d'avance

PS : au risque de dire une bêtise, je me demande si cela n'est pas lié à l'installation d'une mise à jour de bzip2 ... Mais comment corriger ?

Tu as regardé ton "yum.conf" ?
vi /etc/yum.conf

Compare avec le contenu du mien, FC5 fraîchement installée :

Pour moi, il recherche les dépôts en local plutôt qu'en ligne, y'a forcément un os. Comme indiqué, les dépôts sont de préférence placés dans le répertoire "/etc/yum.repos.d" depuis la FC5, un fichier séparé par dépôt. Des conflits peuvent se produire si certains dépôts sont utilisés ensemble (c'est le cas par exemple de Livna et Freshmeat).

De base, tu dois avoir les dépôts suivants :
- fedora-core.repo
- fedora-development.repo
- fedora-extras-development.repo
- fedora-extras.repo
- fedora-legacy.repo
- fedora-updates.repo
- fedora-updates-testing.repo

Tu n'arrives même pas à faire un "yum update yum" ?
La connexion ne se fait pas sur les dépôts de base ?

Bonjour,

Toujours mon problème avec yum ... Aujourd'hui j'ai décidé de laisser tourner yum sans l'interrompre (il a téléchargé quelques catalogues, et a déclaré des erreurs de parse)... Après un blocage de près de 10 minutes sans rien faire (de visible en tout cas) c'est le crash
