Bonjour
J'aimerais mettre à jour mon Ubuntu 12.10 vers la version 14.4.
Je suis allé dans System setting puis Detail, et j'ai ciqué sur 'installer les mises à jour.

Je recois un message d'erruer

ce n'etait pas une version LTS, apparemment plus de mises a jour depuis 2014

Ben je pense que c'est la cause. Dans tous les cas, j'ai fait la mise à jour avec un CD 12.4, ce qui m'a effacer le contenu de /var/www/.
Je dois réinstaller le serveur web et mysql ainsi que vim.

C'est pas trop grave car c'est une machine de teste, mais j'ai comme meme perdu un fichier important.....
Au final, j'aurais du faire une nouvelle installation au lieu d'une mise à jours...

C'etait surement ca, il n'existe plus dans ce dossier de contenu sur "quantal", si cela avait ete un autre probleme tu aurais eu une erreur differente.
Par contre pour ta mise a jour l'outil "do-release-upgrade" aurait pu etre interessant ( je dis aurait pu car je ne suis pas specialiste ubuntu)
