J'obtiens constamment ce message lors d'envoi d'e-mail de test après avoir configuré Database Mail sur un serveur au laboratoire:

The mail could not be sent to the recipients because of the mail server failure. (Sending Mail using Account 1 (2013-05-16T10:37:55). Exception Message: Cannot send mails to mail server. (Failure sending mail.).
)

J'ai tout essayé ce que ma recherche Google suggère (activation/désactivation de SSL, changement de ports, modification de l'authentification, ajout du compte de service au rôle DatabaseMailUserRole de la base msdb, etc.), avec les paramètres SMTP fournis par les responsables MS Exchange de la boîte.

Quelqu'un a-t-il une piste? S'il vous manque de l'information, merci de m'aviser, je tâcherai de les retracer et de vous les fournir. Pas une urgence nationale, mais je désire activer Database Mail pour transmettre les alertes sur pagette ou e-mail.

Je pense sincèrement que c'est un problème d'autorisation de connexion sur ton serveur smtp au vu du message d'erreur suivant :

(No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it 172.18.254.14:465

Il faut que tu demandes à ton admin exchange de créer les autorisations nécessaires pour autoriser ton serveur sql l'envoi des messages.

Pour ce qui est des droits de relayer les messages, je viens d'envoyer une demande aux responsables MS Exchange, peut-être le compte AD utilisé par le service SQL Server n'a-t-il pas les droits. Ou encore, le port est différent de 25 (et pourtant, je parviens à envoyer un message à la mitaine, par telnet, c'est instantané!!). Ou encore, il faut utiliser l'authentification simple (basic) avec un compte et mot de passe définis, ou autre. J'attends leur retour.

Je sais qu'en général les administrateurs exchange n'autorisent pas forcément les plage d'adresses réseaux dédiés aux serveurs à envoyer des messages par sécurité.

Le Telnet tu l'effectues depuis le serveur SQL ou sur ton poste ?

Le telnet a été fait depuis le serveur SQL. Pour ce qui est de l'authentification anonyme, je suis en attente de la réponse des responsables MS Exchange. Perso, je l'ignore. Donc, peut-être un mauvais réglage. Je vous tiens au courant.

Un des responsables MS Exchange m'a répondu qu'il n'y a pas d'authentification autre qu'anonyme, mais que je dois faire ouvrir le port 25 dans les pare-feux, nos serveurs de données étant dans leur zone par rapport au serveur SMTP.

Je dois donc compter quelques jours avant que le port soit ouvert, je tenais à vous en faire part. Vous serez informés des résultats dès que je pourrai re-tester.
