Description: The Apps/Multimedia Test group designs, develops, debugs and runs test automation software to verify a broad array of multimedia applications on our ASIC products. You will interact in a team environment with other test automation developers and with our ASIC embedded software developers.


Responsibilities:

Test experience (a strong understanding of test methodology), understanding of the software development cycle, and experience with wireless test equipment or telecommunications systems are all preferred. Low level knowledge of the data protocol stack (PPP, IP, TCP) is a plus. Application interoperability (IOT) experience with carriers, OEMs, vendors and test forums a big plus. Software and test automation development skills are required. Advanced Perl development is preferred, but we will consider strong C and C++ candidates.
Profils recherchés: Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering required. Flexibility in work assignments and thoroughness in project management are crucial. Successful candidate must have strong communication skills, be an effective team player and be able to work independently.

Experience with automation scripting/programing is required. Experiences with C, C++, JAVA, PERL is required. Experience with multimedia standards (JPEG, H.264, MPEG, OpenGLES, OpenVG ) or 2G and 3G multimedia applications (Media player, Camera, Browser...) is required.
