WOL avec un BIOS PHOENIX

Bonjour,

Je ne sais pas du tout si je poste dans la bonne section, j'espère ne pas trop me tromper. ^^


J'aimerais faire du WOL sur un portable âgé d'environ 2 ans (Packard Bell EasyNote SB65-U-007W).
Malheureusement, sur le BIOS PHOENIX, je n'ai pas d'option pour l'activer (je n'ai pas non plus de menu POWER) tout comme sur mon portable actuel qui est âgé d'un peu moins d'un an.

J'ai lu que sur certaines machines, on activait le WOL non plus sur le BIOS mais dans la configuration de la carte réseau sous Windows. Or je n'ai plus Windows dessus...

J'aurais déjà aimé savoir si mon matériel permettait le WOL mais je n'ai pas trouvé d'information concernant la carte-mère :

Avec ethtool, j'ai activé le WAKE-ON : g
Mais l'ordinateur de démarre tout de même pas lors de l'envoi d'un paquet magique.

Comment savoir si mon ordinateur supporte le WOL ?
Si il peut supporter le WOL, comment l'activer sans le BIOS et sans Windows ?

Il n'y a pas l'air d'y avoir de paquet magique.

Je vais essayer de voir si le paquet magique ne serait pas envoyé par wifi par erreur.

EDIT : Même si la carte ethernet semble accepter les paquets WOL, comment savoir si lorsque mon ordinateur est éteins que la carte est toujours sous tension?

Sur la prise ethernet de la 9box flashée, seule la diode de gauche reste allumée lorsque l'ordi est éteins, et celle de droite s'allume lorsque débian est lancé. Je suppose donc qu'une des diode sert à dire que des paquets sont envoyé et l'autre que des paquets sont reçu?

EDIT 2 : J'ai essayé de modifier le fichier /etc/default/halt
J'ai rajouté NETDOWN="yes" à la fin et lorsque j'éteins l'ordi, le voyant qui montre que l'ordi est allumé clignote.
Je l'ai remplacé par NETDOWN="yes" et cette fois-ci, le voyant reste allumé, le voyant wifi est aussi allumé et le ventilateur semble lui-aussi en marche. De plus sur le port ethernet de la 9box, les deux voyants sont allumés.

Mais le WOL ne marche toujours pas...

Comment as-tu obtenu la mac address que tu cibles ? Es-tu sûr que c'est bien celle de la carte du PC à réveiller ?

Essaie d'ajouter successivement l'option « -p7 » puis « -p9 » à ta commande.

Sinon pour l'option -p7 ou -p9 cela ne marche pas mieux, que je mette l'option NETWORKDOWN à yes, no ou que je ne la mette pas.

Est-ce que le problème pourrait provenir du bios?

La solution consiste donc, dans le paragraphe stop de votre networking, de rajouter un ifconfig eth0 up (ou adaptez si ce n'est pas eth0)

J'imagine que tu as bien fait ton ifconfig sur l'ordinateur à réveiller et pas sur celui depuis lequel tu émets ton paquet.

Est-ce que ça marche mieux si tu passes en mode « p » plutôt que « g » ?

ça ne marche pas mieux.

Par contre je ne sais pas ce que j'ai fait, mais je n'arrive plus à laisser le voyant wifi, le voyant d'allumage et le ventillo allumé lorsque j'arrête le portable avec halt
